i learned this the hard way, as i ‘playfought’ my neighbor, who stated that rather than urinate in his perfectly functioning urinal, he went over the edge of his balcony into my lawn. well, he was kidding, and my playful jabs and hooks to his body were not that significant. however, his first blow to me somehow hit my lower back and knocked me down for the count, for an hour, til i could finally get up again. and its been fucking with me all week. moral? that was stupid.

i’m going to the viper room tomorrow to see julia set. or julia fly, or something. a doc from work recommended the band and i’ve never been to the viper room. looks cool though.

i went snowboarding two weekends ago at big bear. the last time i went was, maybe 2001, and after a winter in st. louis or absolutely no movement sans car, my muscles had atrophied and my cardiovascular shape was terrible. i’m in better shape this time and it showed, i was able to ride some of the beginner and intermediate runs. again, my body was wrecked afterwards. winter has not done the body of shawn well.

going to portland, oregon for president’s day weekend. i’ve never been - do you live there? would you like to hang out with me, if only for a night? i dont think i mean it *that way*, but it depends on who *you* are. thanks, shawn.
